Developing content for small mobile devices makes a lot of sense — the adoption of these devices around the world is just tremendous. Mobile learning is growing at a rapid clip as well. I see business professionals embracing mobile learning on all sorts of devices, and SumTotal intends to be there every step of the way. Today we are announcing the availability of a preview release (aka beta) of ToolBook Instructor version 9.5. With this release you can get going today creating learning and rich interactive content for the Apple iPhone. We’re initially focusing on the iPhone because of its ability to display & run rich interactive web content, its expected mass popularity and its screen size.
I encourage you to try out the preview software and send us your feedback. All the details how to get access to the free download and send in feedback can be found out www.toolbook.com/preview. We are also doing numerous virtual webinars/meetings to show you the preview release in action - you can find information on how to attend these webinars by visiting http://www.toolbook.com/community_whatsnew.php.

If you have received your Instructor 9.01 CD ROM but have not yet installed it, please read the following.
How to backup the Instructor 9.0 catalog prior to installing the 9.01 CD ROM.
